Crystal Reports XI enables you to create complex and professional reports in a GUI-based program. You can connect your report to almost any data source, as well as to proxy data, such as a result set (for example, an ADO.NET DataSet). The wizards that are included in the GUI designer make it easy to format, group, chart, and present data.

Crystal Reports XI is integrated directly into the Visual Studio .NET development environment. You can host your report in either a web or Windows application with one of the Crystal Reports viewer controls, or use the extensive API to interact with the report programmatically at runtime.
